Hi, I am Emma, the founder of
BCD Art Music Academy
I am a mom of two, and a former piano teacher.
Since the pandemic, virtual learning left my children with limited communication skills and a lack of peer interaction.
Once they were back to school, I discovered that the afterschool system they were attending failed to equip them with essential life skills for their personal and post-pandemic growth.
Rather than complain, I decided to do something about it!
Here’s what I did: I decided to create an Afterschool Program focused on personality building, teamwork and people connection.
BCD ( Bu Cha Dian) means "Screen-free, No-WIFI" in Chinese. And we use Art and Music with other hands-on activities to provide an enriching environment after the homework time for children K to 5th grade. We also have our signature Piano Program led by my partner Ms. Judith Cataldo.
